Summary and Ressources

Basics of animation creation and Animation Editor overview.

We hope you found this lesson useful and informative. You’ve had an overview of the Animation Editor, which is the very tool every animator from Softbank Robotics uses to create animations you can actually see on the robot.

Besides, in this lesson, you discovered some vocabulary and technics inherent to the world of animation. You get to know the field of expertise of an animator. The first things people view on the robot is the way it moves, the way it speaks with natural gesture and flowing movements. So creating an animation is not just putting some key poses one after the other, but thinking about how people move, how they behave in different situations and translate this into the robot personality and possibilities.
